John Kupsle is back! Help them in a new adventure in the Nonoban Jungle.

You'll need to pay attention to your surroundings to avoid getting stuck in quicksand, or worse.

Push bridges around and gather rare butterflies while looking for the legendary teleporting hare (it might not be real).

Controls:

  • WASD, Arrows - movement
  • X, Space, Enter - cross bridges
  • Z, F, Backspace - undo
  • R - restart
  • G - toggle grid
  • LMB & RMB - mark cells
  • N - next level
  • P - previous level

What are those numbers???

I'm sorry, doing a nonogram tutorial was clearly out of scope!! Numbers indicate the state of the cells in their respective row or column. In this game the "drawn" cells are quicksand, aka a danger you must avoid. Each number is a group of consecutive cells, and multiple number in a same row/column mean each group will be separated by at least one safe cell.
The game has twists on top of that which you can figure out while playing (I hope)

What happened?

The first few days were spent on making the nonogram solver. Small sessions during the week but not much progress. I'm still getting used to godot which doesn't help. The game only really became a game in the last couple of days, and even if I think there's potential, I only really had time for levels during the last day, so it's pretty light on interesting puzzles..

I solved the nonogram, got things a little mixed up on the sokoban, hit R to reset... and completely lost my nonogram progress. Couldn't undo to retrieve it, either. I just wanted to reset the sokoban part

fun puzzles though

Sorry about that, I know that frustrating, it's also something I wanted to tackle before the end of the jam :(
