A Time Travel Prototype
Grab boxes from the future and send them back through time.
Avoid paradoxes.
Move with arrows or WASD.
Rewind with E or X.
Restart with R.
I completely forgot about the jam and made this quickly in the last day. The movement can be janky (also got a report of repeating input, idk why, which got fixed with a refresh) and it has some weird levels, but I really like the idea. Not sure how far it could go though.
Made with GMS2 for the Thinky Puzzle Game Jam 4.

i don't think sending a box to the past but the box doesn't ever get retrieved from the past shouldn't be a paradox, i think it should be, if possible can you make it so doing that causes a paradox?
I could, and it started that way, but the only way to really make this work would be to prevent boxes font being sent if they weren't retrieved in the first place. And technically, sending something doesn't mean it has to be received, though the opposite isn't true, so yeah I went with the simpler version.
okay
Interesting,wish more levels.
